SEO Content Writer (Skincare Focus)

We are looking for a skilled SEO Writer with knowledge and passion for skincare to create engaging, high-quality content that attracts organic traffic, educates readers, and strengthens our brand authority in the beauty and wellness space.

Responsibilities
- Research, write, and optimize long-form and short-form content (blog posts, product descriptions, landing pages, etc.) around skincare, beauty, and wellness topics.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-value opportunities for organic growth.
- Write SEO-friendly articles that maintain a natural, engaging flow while ranking for relevant keywords.
- Develop skincare-focused content that’s accurate, well-researched, and aligned with dermatology/beauty best practices.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content matches brand voice and campaign goals.
- Optimize existing website/blog content for improved rankings and conversions.
- Stay updated on skincare trends, SEO best practices, and Google algorithm updates.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as an SEO content writer (portfolio required).
- Strong knowledge of skincare, beauty, or wellness (personal interest and/or professional background in the industry).
- Excellent written English: clear, natural, and engaging.
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO, or equivalent).
- Ability to write content that’s both informative and persuasive.
- Familiarity with Shopify CMS is a plus but not necessary.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines consistently.

Nice-to-Have
- Experience writing for e-commerce/beauty brands.
- Understanding of conversion copywriting and user intent.
- Knowledge of Japanese skincare culture, fermentation, ingredients, compounds.
