Video Editor/ Researcher

I am looking for a researcher and video editor for a YouTube channel that I am in the process of starting. The videos will be on a range of topics about American society mostly but also international issues as well. This will involve digging into and reading books, primary sources and digging deep to find information and put it together on topics that no one else has spent the time digging into.

In addition to that I am looking for a video editor, to help edit these YouTube videos. This is a good comp in terms of the editing style that I am looking for ---------- roles do not have to be the same person but that is preferred. Please indicate in your message which you are interested in or both.

If you are someone that is curious about how the world works , and wants to help research topics and solve difficult puzzles as most issues are much more complicated than they appear at face value than this is the role for you.

In terms of a researcher the following are requirements
- Likes to read
- Can find connection between information that is not laid out for you
- Hard working
- Curious
- Thinks outside the box
- Organized
- Has an open mind to what the data and facts say and will try to be objective as much as possible

Preferences
- Understands American culture
- Is interested in politics and social change
- Is willing to work at least partially during US Eastern time hours
- Has experience doing/ reading research papers or primary sources

In terms of an editor here are the requirements
- Hardworking
- Self Teacher
- Able to edit videos in a style similar to the comp channel
- Able to find stock video figure out what is allowed and what we need to do for copyright
- Willing to work outside of editing. (Research on what is working on other channels)
- Willing to cut full length videos into shorts

Preferences
- Understanding or willingness to learn about YouTube Algorithm
- Ability to build yourself tools so that your editing style becomes consistent and takes less time as you learn
