We are a fast-growing home care and caregiver training company based in the US Eastern time zone. Our mission is to support caregivers and ensure clients receive excellent care through great hiring and reliable scheduling. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Recruiter / Scheduler with at least 1 year of proven scheduling experience to join our team.

Role Overview

The Recruiter / Scheduler manages the full hiring pipeline and ensures smooth scheduling operations. You will recruit and onboard new caregivers, handle scheduling logistics, and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for both hiring and shift coverage.

Recruitment & Onboarding -

Conduct phone screens with applicants and schedule in-office interviews for management.
Collect all required paperwork, credentials, and compliance documents.
Schedule and coordinate new hire orientations.
Set up employee accounts and assist with onboarding technology (email, scheduling systems, etc.).
Work closely with the Team Lead to hand off new hires for training and placement.

Scheduling -

Manage daily caregiver schedules to ensure client visits are covered.
Adjust schedules for call-outs, changes, or last-minute needs.
Match caregivers to clients based on skills, location, and availability.
Communicate schedules clearly and promptly with staff.

Accountability & Reporting -

Consistently meet recruiting and scheduling KPIs (time-to-hire, coverage rate, retention benchmarks).
Maintain accurate records in applicant tracking and scheduling systems.
Provide regular progress reports to management.

Qualifications -

At least 1 year of scheduling experience (healthcare, staffing, or workforce scheduling required).
Experience with recruiting or HR support strongly preferred.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
Comfortable with spreadsheets, scheduling systems, and basic tech setup.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills -

Background in caregiver, nursing, or healthcare recruitment preferred but not required
Experience with workforce management systems.
Familiarity with U.S. time zones and healthcare operations.

On-Call Rotation – Participate in an on-call rotation one weekend per month (with additional pay).
