Amazon Compliance Specialist – Hazmat / SDS / Tariff Documentation

We are seeking an experienced Amazon Compliance Specialist to help us manage the constant flow of Amazon compliance emails, document requests, and flagged product issues that impact our direct import and global vendor operations. This role is critical to keeping our catalog live and our shipments moving without costly delays, chargebacks, or blocked SKUs.

Key Responsibilities
Review and respond to Amazon compliance requests and daily emails across Vendor Central and Seller Central.
Prepare, update, and submit Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) for Amazon products.
Upload and maintain required compliance documentation including Hazmat, CPC, GPSR, tariff, and traceability forms.
File appeals for rejected documents and resolve compliance-related listing errors.
Ensure compliance with U.S. and global regulatory requirements for direct import and marketplace sales.
Track and help resolve Amazon deductions, chargebacks, and compliance-related disputes.
Stay up to date with Amazon’s evolving compliance and import documentation requirements (e.g., Direct Import Global Product Compliance Handbook).

Qualifications
Demonstrated success preparing Amazon-approved SDS/MSDS and compliance documents.
Experience navigating Amazon Vendor Central / Seller Central compliance workflows.
Familiarity with hazmat approval processes, tariff documentation, and U.S./EU compliance standards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
