Video Editor

We’re looking for a creative and reliable Video Editor to join our team on a freelance basis. This role involves editing engaging video content for health, fitness, lifestyle, dance, and community-focused brands. You’ll work on both short-form content (Reels/TikToks) and longer, story-driven vlog-style edits.

If you love storytelling through video, keeping up with social media trends, and delivering clean, engaging edits – this could be for you!

What You’ll Do
- Edit short-form clips (15–60 sec) and long-form vlogs (up to 3 mins).
- Add captions, sound overlays, motion-based cuts, and beat-matched transitions.
- Bring out key messages, emotions, and storytelling flow.
- Export in correct formats for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Work with clear briefs and references for each project.

Types of Videos You’ll Edit
- Exercise Demo Reels – short fitness videos with clean transitions, overlays, and music sync.
- Talking-Head Videos – advice/instructional edits with text overlays and smooth transitions.
- Recap / Day-in-the-Life Videos – storytelling edits with music, captions, and light corrections.
- Dance Videos – energetic edits with beat-matching, zooms, and creative transitions.
- Event Promo Videos – marketing-style edits with CTAs, captions, and branded elements.

Tools You Must Know

- CapCut (required)
- Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
-Bonus: After Effects (for stylised text/motion effects)

Essential Criteria
- 2+ years’ experience editing for social platforms.
-Confident in both short-form content and vlog-style edits.
- Fast turnaround (1–3 days per project).
- Able to work independently and follow briefs.
- Strong sense of timing, rhythm, and storytelling.
-Fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Stable internet connection (with backup option).

Desirable (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience editing fitness, dance, or community content.
- Worked with UK or international clients.
- Knowledge of TikTok/Reels algorithm trends.
- Basic graphic design skills for simple templates.
