Transportation Planner

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Use Truck Builder software to layout and assemble each trailer. Analyze the output to ensure that loads are built to maximize both safety and efficiency while loading and unloading product .
•Maintain equipment and ensure the proper supply of all necessary materials to facilitate successful loading and unloading processes. Order supplies as needed.
•Respond to all driver concerns regarding loads built with Truck Builder. Adjust loads as necessary to address concerns and maximize efficiency.
•Assist in loading trailers as needed to meet daily production goals.
•Other duties as assigned by manager.

Special Skills Qualifications :
-Must be fluent in English
-Must be fluent in English and Spanish (bilingual contract only)
-Must have excellent Customer Service Skills
-Must have ability to process orders quickly with excellent attention to detail and accuracy of information.
-Must achieve and maintain quality monitoring scores of 85% on a consistent basis.
-Must have good computer skills
