We partner with entrepreneurs and enterprises to validate ideas, build MVPs, and drive market traction.

Position Summary
We are seeking a results-oriented Technical Sales & Business Development Manager to drive our growth. This role is responsible for the entire sales cycle—from proactive lead generation and qualification to negotiating and closing deals for our custom design, development (apps, software, games), and product services. The ideal candidate has a hunter mentality, some understanding of the software development process, a learning mentality, and the ability to articulate our studio's value proposition to technical and non-technical decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting (Hunter Mentality)
Identify and Qualify: Proactively research and target potential clients (startups, established enterprises, entrepreneurs) who need custom software development, design, and venture services.
Outreach Strategy: Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (cold calling, email, social media, networking) to generate a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
Networking: Represent the studio at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand market presence and generate new opportunities.

2. Sales Cycle Management & Deal Closure
Needs Assessment: Conduct deep-dive discovery calls to understand the client’s business objectives, technical requirements, and pain points, acting as a consultative partner.
Technical Solutioning: Articulate how the studio’s design, development (e.g., app development, game design, custom software), and technical expertise can solve the client’s challenges and drive ROI.
Proposal Development: Create compelling and technical accurate proposals, pitch decks, and statements of work (SOWs), often collaborating with the technical and design leads.
Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations, manage objections, and close deals to achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.

3. Client & Market Strategy
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
Market Feedback: Provide continuous feedback to the studio’s leadership, design, and technical teams on market needs, competitor offerings, and service gaps.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and pipeline forecasts using our CRM system.

Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 3+ years of successful business development or technical sales experience, preferably selling custom software development, IT services, design, or SaaS solutions.
Technical Acumen: Strong foundational knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), technical design principles, and modern technologies (e.g., mobile apps, web frameworks, game development, cloud services).
Venture/Studio Context: Familiarity with the venture studio, startup, or product development ecosystem is a significant plus.
Sales Skills: Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation, with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred but not required. Technical skills are not essential.
