Part-Time Dental AR Specialist (Remote)

We are a U.S.-based Dental Billing Company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our growing team. This role is part-time and focused on insurance AR reports, with the possibility of assisting in other dental billing tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

Work on insurance AR report

Follow up on outstanding claims and update reports with accurate status notes.

Identify and resolve claim denials, rejections, or missing information.

Communicate clearly and document progress for each account.

Support other billing-related tasks as assigned (not to exceed part-time hours).

Preferred Experience

Strong knowledge of dental insurance AR and billing workflows.

Hands-on experience with at least one of the following practice management systems:

Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Open Dental, Fuse, Eaglesoft

Familiarity with insurance portals and electronic claim submission systems.

Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.

Requirements

Reliable internet connection and availability during U.S. business hours (flexible schedule, part-time only).

Prior dental billing experience is a must (minimum 2 years).

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Must be organized, efficient, and able to meet deadlines.
