Accountant

Who we want:
MSA seeks a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Accountant. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for supporting finance and accounting.

The nature of the role:
This is a part-time position that will report to MSA’s CEO. This position will be virtual and will work between 4-6 hours per day. MSA's headquarters are in Colorado, USA, which is 14 hours behind the Philippines. In order to enable close collaboration with the rest of the team, the successful candidate’s workday will partially overlap with the working hours of our executive team in Colorado (ideally from 5am – 11am MT; 7pm – 1am Philippines). You would be joining several colleagues who are already based in the Philippines.


Requirements:
? At least 3 years of relevant work experience
? Experience using QuickBooks (preferably QuickBooks Desktop, but QuickBooks Online is also acceptable)
? A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
? Exceptional attention to detail and prioritization skills
? Ability to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment
? Excellent judgment skills with ability to operate independently and efficiently
? Team player attitude, with excellent communication skills and high degree of professionalism

Other desired characteristics:
? Experience doing accounting with consulting companies.
? Experience with currency exchange, intercompany accounting, payroll and IT expertise.
