Front-end Developer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team and help us build engaging, user-friendly, and high-performing digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of traditional and legacy front-end frameworks, best practices in software development, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to ensure smooth workflows, compliance, and verification standards.

Key Responsibilities
-Develop and maintain user interfaces using older frameworks and libraries (such as jQuery, Backbone.js, Ext JS, Bootstrap, or AngularJS).
-Collaborate with Policy Tech teams to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations is reflected in the product design and implementation.
-Conduct test scenarios in live production environments (with rollback and safety protocols) to validate new features and deployments.
-Work closely with cross-functional departments (Product, Design, QA, and Back-End Development) to ensure alignment, transparency, and efficient information exchange.
-Implement verification processes for features, data integrity, and user interactions, ensuring secure and reliable application performance.
-Translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive and interactive code.
-Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
-Debug and resolve front-end issues in staging and production environments.
-Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to processes and tools.

Requirements
-Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.
-Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and one or more modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
-Experience working with API integrations and handling dynamic data.
-Familiarity with testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent) and experience in testing live production environments.
-Understanding of verification protocols, authentication, and security best practices.
-Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and communicate technical information clearly.
-Familiarity with policy and compliance requirements in software development (Policy Tech experience is a plus).
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have
-Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
-Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA).
-Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile methodologies.
