Senior Chrome Extension Developer – Maintain & Grow AI-Powered Instagram Outreach Tool

About Us:
We run a fully functional Chrome Extension that automates Instagram outreach at scale, handling DMs, follow-ups, account warming, and AI-enhanced messaging. The tool is live and working — now we’re looking for a skilled developer to take it to the next level.


The Challenge:
You’ll receive the existing source files and a front-end overview of the extension. Your first task: investigate and document the technologies, frameworks, and systems used. From there, you will maintain, optimize, and expand the extension — improving automation, AI capabilities, and account safety.

Responsibilities:

Analyze the existing extension and map out its tech stack.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize all Instagram automation features (DM sending, follow-ups, warming up).

Enhance AI functionality for smarter messaging and targeting.

Ensure automation is safe and reliable with proxies, throttling, and best practices.

Suggest and implement new features to improve engagement and revenue.


Requirements:

Proven experience with Chrome Extensions (manifest v2/v3, background/content scripts, messaging, permissions).

Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills; familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).

Experience with APIs, automation tools, Instagram automation, and AI integrations.

Analytical and independent: you can reverse-engineer systems and improve them.

Bonus: SaaS experience, scraping, proxy handling, or large-scale automation.
