Operational Specialist - File Tagging & Document Management

Role: Long-term operations support for digital file organization.

About the Role:
We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented professional to manage the organization, tagging, and naming of folders, files, and documents across our systems. You’ll follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for naming conventions and metadata tagging, ensuring that every file is properly classified and easily retrievable.

This is a highly operational role requiring precision, consistency, and comfort with structured, sometimes repetitive work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Tag, rename, and organize files according to SOPs
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of naming conventions across large data sets
- Cross-check files for duplicates, mislabeling, or missing metadata
- Maintain logs of completed work and report progress regularly
- Suggest improvements to SOPs if patterns or edge cases emerge

Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail; enjoys structured, process-driven work
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks without losing accuracy
- Experience with file/document management (Google Drive, Dropbox, SharePoint, or similar)
- Ability to follow highly specific instructions
- Proactive communicator, able to flag errors or unclear cases quickly
- Fast learner — can pick up new tools and workflows efficiently

Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in data entry, operations support, or records management
- Exposure to metadata tagging or digital asset management
