Virtual Assistant/ Paralegal with focus on Immigration

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented virtual assistant to join us remotely.

Role Overview: As a Virtual Assistant/ Paralegal, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our legal team. Your responsibilities will include administrative tasks, document preparation, client communication, and research related to our cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Communication:
Communicate with clients via email, phone, and video calls.
Provide updates on case progress and answer general inquiries.

Legal writing:
Able to draft demand letters and/or petitions in preparation for court.

Administrative Support:
Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
Possibly email management.
Website maintenance and social media postings.
Complete monthly bookkeeping records.
Assist with billing, invoicing, and other administrative tasks.

Case Management:
Assist with organizing and maintaining case files.
Prepare and review immigration forms, petitions, and supporting documents.
Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information.

Legal Research:
Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and precedents.
Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration policies.


Qualifications:

Experience: Prior experience as an immigration paralegal or legal assistant is preferred.

Skills:
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
Excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with immigration forms (e.g., USCIS forms, visa applications).
Tech-savvy (comfortable using virtual meeting tools, document management systems, and email).
