We are Maths Accelerator, a premium UK tutoring company with 20+ years of proven success helping students achieve top grades in Maths, Further Maths, and sciences. We are expanding internationally and building strong admin systems to support our team of tutors and students.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Virtual Assistant (VA) to support our director with scheduling, admin, and client communication. This is a part-time role (with growth potential) requiring strong English communication, IT skills, and reliability. You will play a vital role in keeping our tutors, students, and parents connected and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
? Coordinate lesson schedules between students, tutors, and the director (initially focusing on Leah’s hours, expanding to others).
? Manage WhatsApp messages,
? Organise worksheets, lesson notes, and Google Sheets timetables.
? Carry out research & browsing tasks as directed.
? Provide daily check-ins with the director (UK time 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) to receive/administer tasks.
? Assist with setting up client meetings and calls.
? Handle basic admin such as confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling.
Requirements
Fluent spoken and written English (essential for communicating with UK parents and tutors).
Good IT skills (Google Sheets, Google Drive, WhatsApp Web,
Fast, reliable internet connection.
Noise-free environment suitable for calls and communication.
Available during UK hours 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (with possible extended hours).
Immediate response and fast turnaround of tasks.
Highly reliable, organised, and proactive.

Compensation
