Freelance Photographer

We are a UK based progressive and fast growing e-commerce agency with multiple projects and clients right now.

As we scale, we need a Freelance Photographer to join our team to help us with product photos.


Job purpose : To be able to provide the best product photos using his line of expertise

Availability to work online and on tracker during the office core hours which is from 7PM to 10PM (Philippine Standard Time), Monday to Friday for team collaboration is a must.


Main responsibilities:

• Provide clients with options on photography styles and backgrounds and assist them in choosing the right ones
• Create compositions using props and locations and direct subjects to act or stay natural, depending on the specific requirements of the project
• Set up equipment such as cameras, lenses, tripods and lights according to the specific requirements of each photography project
• Capture images using cameras, by directing helpers and subjects, ensuring that more than 2 exposures are taken for each angle
• Liaison with other professionals such as graphic designers, writers, gallery managers and art directors to comprehend use of exposed images
• Process images using standard or digital procedures, ensuring maintenance of quality at all times
• Create and maintain effective liaison with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate obtainment of photography equipment and supplies
• Use a variety of image enhancing software to create and print superior quality photographs in different sizes

Qualifications:

• Have access to a high-grade camera
• Willing to be able to present equipment set-up and also a basic studio set up
• Have experience with Product Photography
• Should be able to show portfolio


Role-specific requirements
• Artistic Ability: Photographers need to be able to compose a shot, understand framing, color and light to create a visually pleasing photograph.
• Computer Skills: Most photographic manipulation is done through computer. Retouching photos, adding details, or other digital additions will be through a computer.
• Attention to Detail: Photographers must have an eye on everything before, during and after the shot. Attention to detail makes sure that every hair is in place and nobody is photobombing in the back of the shot.
• Interpersonal Skills: When working with people, photographers need to speak clearly and in a friendly way to get what they want out of the photograph.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to handle multiple streams of work
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team; confidence to take the lead and guide other team members where necessary
• Ability to take direction as well as work independently
• Attention to detail
• Ability and willingness to utilize project management and time tracking software
