JOB OVERVIEW

Hi there! I’m looking for a reliable and detail-oriented WordPress developer to help bring a new 10-page website to life. The project will include plugin setup, form integration, and some basic eCommerce.

I really value clear communication, pride in your work, and someone who pays attention to details. If this project goes well, there’s definitely the possibility of working together on more WordPress sites in the future.

This is a fixed project ($400, one payment after completion)

Requirements:

Be able to create a website using GeneratePress + Gutenberg (no Elementor, Divi, or other heavy builders)
Have experience with WPForms (for my mentorship application page + Thank You page setup)
Comfortable with (or willing to learn) Brevo/Sendinblue plugin for email integration (newsletter + free eBook delivery)
Experience with WooCommerce and digital downloads
Have a strong focus on site speed, clean code, and mobile responsiveness when developing the site.
Provide at least 2 progress updates per week via Google Chat.
Must agree to use AI-generated or client-provided images only (no stock or “free” images. Very important due to past legal issues)
Provide 1 month of free post-launch support for small fixes or errors.
Ideally be comfortable communicating in English (chat is fine but a plus if you can do voice/video)
Aim to respond to emails/messages within 24 hours

Nice to Have (But Not Required):

Experience with optimization (CSS/JS cleanup, caching, image optimization)
Examples of prior work with GeneratePress + Gutenberg

Project Details:

Scope: 10-page WordPress website
Budget: $400 (fixed, paid after completion)
Timeline: Target completion in 3–4 weeks
Hosting & domain are ready
All images will be provided or AI-generated
I believe good projects are built with trust, clear expectations, and "quietfocus" from both sides.

How to Apply:

1. Share examples of websites you’ve built using GeneratePress + Gutenberg (if available).
2. Confirm if you’ve worked with WPForms, WooCommerce (digital downloads), and Brevo/Sendinblue.
3. Confirm you understand and agree to the AI-only image policy.
4. Let me know your estimated timeline for completing a 10-page site.
5. Confirm whether you can provide 1 month of post-launch support for small fixes.
6. To show you’ve read this carefully, please include the secret word in quotes used above in the sentence before the How to Apply section. in the title of your application. Applicants who miss this step won’t be considered.

Pre-Interview Questions (please answer briefly in your application):

1. What part of building a WordPress site do you enjoy most? Design, functionality, or optimization?
2. How do you typically approach troubleshooting when something on the site isn’t working as expected?
3. If a client requests a feature you’re not familiar with, what’s your process for learning and delivering it?
4. How would you ensure the site you build is both fast and mobile-friendly?
5. What makes you confident that you’re the right fit for this project?

Important: Please respond via OLJ messaging and NOT my email. This is so I can compare your response to your profile. If you email me directly or try to email me in other ways I will NOT respond.
