We are currently seeking a detail-oriented SEO Content QA Proofreader to ensure all written content meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and SEO optimization. The ideal candidate has strong editorial skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a solid understanding of SEO best practices to guarantee that all published content enhances search visibility and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Proofread, edit, and QA SEO-optimized content for service pages, location pages, blogs, and landing pages across multiple client websites.
Ensure all written content is grammatically correct, clear, concise, and aligned with brand voice and tone.
Verify accurate keyword usage and proper integration of SEO strategies within the content.
Collaborate with writers, SEO specialists, and web teams to uphold editorial and SEO guidelines.
Conduct final checks on formatting, links, metadata, and overall readability before publication.
Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve clarity, accuracy, and SEO effectiveness.
Maintain consistency across all content while adhering to E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles.
Monitor and flag content quality issues and contribute to refining editorial and SEO processes.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a proofreader, editor, or QA specialist in a digital or SEO-focused environment.
Strong understanding of SEO best practices, keyword optimization, and on-page content structure.
Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style with keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO, or similar platforms.
Ability to spot inconsistencies, redundancies, and errors quickly and accurately.
Highly organized with strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Comfortable working with briefs, templates, content guidelines, and editorial checklists.
Ability to provide constructive feedback clearly and professionally.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience proofreading or editing content for U.S.-based service or local business websites.
Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
Previous experience in an agency or freelance setting with multiple clients.
Knowledge of conversion-focused copywriting and persuasive calls to action.
Background in journalism, communications, or digital marketing.

Work Schedule:
Full-time position (remote).
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm CST.
Willingness to use time-tracking tools.
