About the Project
We are launching a new business book, Soul of Strategy, focused on customer-centric strategy and leadership in organizations. The book brings together cutting-edge research, case studies, and best practices from some of the world’s most customer-focused companies.
We’re looking for a part-time Content Creator & Marketing Specialist with proven book and publication marketing experience to support our launch efforts and help spread the word about the book. You’ll work closely with the project lead to execute a creative, multi-channel campaign.
This is a contract role (~20 hours per week) with a flexible schedule. The position is fully remote, and candidates must be comfortable collaborating across time zones.
What You’ll Do
- Support the development and execution of a book launch marketing campaign across LinkedIn,
- Create compelling content to promote the book, including teaser excerpts, author spotlights, key quotes, case study highlights, and launch announcements.
- Write, edit, and repurpose content for multiple formats (e.g., LinkedIn posts, blog articles, short videos, and newsletters).
- Design clean, effective visuals using Canva, Adobe, or Figma to support marketing materials.
- Conduct research to identify potential client organizations, communities, influencers, and thought-leadership networks for outreach.
- Contribute creative ideas to expand book visibility through partnerships, thought leadership, and online communities.
- Report to and collaborate directly with the project lead for strategy alignment, feedback, and content direction.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in book and publication marketing — e.g., supporting book launches, working with authors, or marketing thought-leadership content.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex business ideas engaging and accessible.
- Familiarity with
- Experience working on business, strategy, or leadership publications is highly preferred.
- Understanding of customer-centric leadership and organizational strategy topics.
- A self-starter who works well collaboratively, takes feedback constructively, and meets deadlines consistently.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least 3 years of experience in communication, content creation, digital marketing, public relations, or a related field.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, content management systems, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe, Figma).
- A passion for storytelling and amplifying book content through creative campaigns.
- Prior experience supporting marketing for a book, book series, or publication is required. Please include examples in your application.
