About Us:
We are a forward-thinking adhesives manufacturer dedicated to innovation and compliance. To support our growing operations, we are seeking a detail-oriented Chemist to join our technical team for a remote role of taking care of compliance requests from our customers.
Hourly rate $6 with part time 5-20 hours per week depending on availability of successful applicant.
Role Overview:
The Chemist will be responsible for preparing and maintaining technical documentation (TDS, MSDS, and compliance statements, non conformances), ensuring product quality standards, and supporting regulatory compliance. The role combines laboratory oversight with documentation excellence to ensure our products meet both customer and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Author, update, and manage Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS), and product compliance statements.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., REACH, CLP, OSHA, GHS).
Oversee Quality Control (QC) processes, including product testing, verification, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with R&D, production, and compliance teams to ensure accurate product information.
Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and QC records.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of a Degree in Chemistry
ideally experience in formulating either inks, adhesives or similar product.
Strong knowledge of chemical regulations and safety standards.
Experience in writing and managing technical documentation (TDS, SDS, compliance statements).
at least 5 years Hands-on QC/laboratory experience
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
