Ophthalmic Surgical Coordinator/Billing Specialist/Administrative Support

Must have 5 years of experience as an ophthalmic surgical coordinator who is responsible for communicating with patients regarding their surgeries, completing surgical forms and consents with patients, and scheduling surgeries with surgical centers and hospitals.

Must have at least 5 years as a Medical Coder who can perform ophthalmic billing, obtain prior authorizations, and verify insurance eligibility. We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Coder to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ophthalmology terminology and coding systems, including CPT codes and ICD-10 codes. This role is essential for ensuring accurate coding of medical records and facilitating efficient billing processes. The Medical Coder will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with coding regulations and standards.
