Shopify Shop Assistant

About Us

We run a growing e-commerce business in the fashion & jewelry segment and are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented freelance assistant to support us with various Shopify-related tasks. The role is remote and well-suited for someone who is organized, quality-focused, and familiar with the Shopify dashboard.

Your Role

As our Shopify Assistant Manager, you will help us with a variety of tasks, starting with...

- Copying and pasting meta texts
- Adjusting and editing product meta texts based on given guidelines (in English)
- Changing and updating primary product images
- Ensuring product data consistency across the shop
- Over time, as we build trust and develop a good workflow, more advanced tasks may follow.

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience working with Shopify (dashboard, product setup, store management)

- Good written English skills (you don’t need to be perfect, but you must understand instructions well)

- Attention to detail – quality is more important than speed

- A reliable and proactive mindset – someone who takes ownership and communicates clearly

Ability to follow guidelines but also suggest improvements when you see them

What We Offer:

- Flexible working hours (approx. 2–4 hours per week to start, with the possibility of more later)

Fair and reliable pay:

- $8 USD per hour for basic tasks like meta text adjustments and image updates

If the role develops into more complex responsibilities (SEO optimization, app integrations, store improvements), you will will offer an attractive rate per hour of $10 and more!
