WordPress Website Specialist (Elementor + Hosting/DNS Expert) – Bonus for SEO Experience

We’re a growing U.S.-based vacation rental management company looking for a skilled WordPress specialist to support our website improvements and ongoing fixes. This is a flexible, hourly role perfect for someone detail-oriented who understands Elementor, hosting basics, mobile optimization, and clean design — and ideally has some SEO experience too (though not required).

This is more of a gig job with some heavy lifting at the front end and some residual work moving forward. I am friends with plenty other property managers that can use this work. If we work well together, I can recommend other clients for you to do the same thing.

You’ll work closely with our Filipino VA lead, so good teamwork and communication are a must. Strong English writing is appreciated, but accent and voice are not part of this role.

What You'll Work On

Reviewing and optimizing our WordPress + Elementor website for performance and structure
Helping confirm that domain, DNS, SSL, and hosting (Hostinger) are configured correctly
Suggesting and implementing simple design enhancements (such as sliders or call-to-action banners)
Optimizing the site for speed, mobile responsiveness, and basic SEO (meta tags, headers, alt text)
Reviewing plugins, backups, and basic security
Creating an easy-to-understand guide for our VA team on how the setup works

Our Current Stack

WordPress + Elementor
Hosting: Hostinger
Domains: GoDaddy
PMS: OwnerRez (used for property listings and bookings)

Bonus (Not Required): SEO Knowledge

We are also trying to attract:
Vacation rental guests searching for places to stay
Property owners looking for a management company

If you have experience with SEO content, keyword research, or optimizing for AI-based search (such as ChatGPT-style queries), that’s a strong bonus. Please mention this in your application if applicable.

Requirements

WordPress experience (ideally with Elementor)
Familiarity with hosting, domains, and SSL basics (especially Hostinger and GoDaddy)
Ability to diagnose and improve site speed and mobile responsiveness
Strong attention to detail and documentation
Ability to work well with another VA and follow through on tasks
Bonus: Experience with SEO or content strategy targeting location-based or natural language search
