Video Editor & Content Creator for YouTube + Instagram Reels (Part-Time, Long-Term)

Hi! My name is Jonnah. I’m a female entrepreneur in Sweden and I run an online business helping solopreneurs with AI tools, tech and mindset.

I’m fairly new to creating content in this niche, but I’ve been teaching tech and AI tools to my clients in my other business for a long time. Now I want to focus on growing my online presence and building a strong YouTube channel.

That’s why I’m looking for a creative and reliable YouTube Video Editor & Content Creator who can join me long-term.

???? Your main priority will be editing my YouTube videos so they are engaging, professional, and keep viewers watching until the end.
The short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) and posts will be secondary.

This is a part-time role (about 20 hours per week to start), with the possibility to grow into full time if we are a good match.

My starting weekly content goal is:
- 1 YouTube video (10–20 minutes) – main focus
- 5 short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) – repurposed from the YouTube video
- 3–5 posts (static posts or carousels)

Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form YouTube videos (10–20 min) with focus on retention and storytelling
- Create short-form clips (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) from the main video
- Add subtitles, captions, and engaging graphics
- Design thumbnails and basic graphics (Canva or similar)
- Repurpose content for Instagram (stories, reels, posts)
- Stay updated on trends in YouTube and social media video content

Requirements:
- Strong experience in YouTube video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut Pro or similar)
- Skills in pacing, transitions, storytelling, and retention optimization
- Experience creating short-form social media videos
- Good design sense (thumbnails, text on video, captions)
- Stable internet connection and good communication skills
- Creative eye + ability to work independently
- Portfolio of previous work (YouTube/Reels/Shorts)

Preferred:
- Familiar with YouTube SEO & audience retention techniques
- Familiar with AI tools for video editing/content creation

What I Offer:
- $5-8 USD/hour
- 20 hours per week to start, paid bi-weekly or monthly (we can agree)
