We’re searching for an experienced WordPress developer to help us finish our author website for Mountains, Monsters & Mercy. This is a short?term project (approximately 10–15 hours total), and we need someone who can jump in and complete as much of the build as possible with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure our DNS and SSL: ensure our domains point correctly to EasyWP and set up the PositiveSSL certificate.
• Install and configure WordPress on our domain using the Hello Elementor theme and Elementor Pro page builder.
• Install and configure essential plugins: SEO (Rank Math or Yoast), security (Wordfence), backups (UpdraftPlus), caching, image optimization, and opt?in forms.
• Create six core pages using Elementor: Home, The Book, 30?Day Climb, Messages to Madison, About, and Contact. Each page should follow our branding, use prewritten copy, and integrate our universal laws messaging (Polarity, Rhythm, Cause & Effect)?60†source?.
• Connect opt?in forms to Mailchimp (or Substack) and ensure downloads (30?Day Climb tools) are delivered automatically.
• Set up Google Analytics, SEO metadata, XML sitemaps, and submit to search engines.

• Provide a brief handover document summarizing completed work, remaining tasks, and suggestions for future improvements.
Ideal Candidate
• Proficient in WordPress, Elementor (free and Pro), and common WP plugins.
• Understands basic DNS and SSL setup (Namecheap/EasyWP is a plus).
• Can work independently, communicate clearly, and deliver within a tight timeframe.
• Comfortable incorporating copy and visuals that tie into our universal themes of resilience?60†source?.

• Flat rate or hourly; estimate 10–15 hours total.
• Must be available to start immediately and complete the majority of the work within one week.
