We're Hiring: Freelance Web Developer

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Web Developer experienced in both WordPress and Shopify to join us on a project basis, with potential for ongoing collaboration. You’ll be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining websites that are functional, responsive, and visually appealing. For this first project, a design layout will be provided. If the partnership goes well, we’d love to continue working with you on future projects.

Responsibilities

Build, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites
Develop and implement responsive website designs
Install, configure, and customize themes, templates, and plugins
Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Collaborate with our design and marketing teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Provide recommendations on tools, apps, and integrations to improve client websites

Qualifications

Proven experience developing websites in WordPress and Shopify (portfolio required)
Experience with Elementor, Astra, or other WordPress builders
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
Experience customizing themes and building templates from scratch
Knowledge of e-commerce functionality and Shopify app integrations
Familiarity with SEO and website optimization best practices
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity with Liquid (Shopify’s templating language)
Basic knowledge of graphic design or UI/UX principles
