Role Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Local SEO Specialist to join our team. This role is straightforward focused on executing tried-and-true local SEO strategies that we already know work. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable with the “bread-and-butter” SEO tasks, this position is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GBP) for multiple clients

Conduct on-page optimizations for websites (meta tags, internal linking, etc.)

Create and manage local citations and directory listings

Build and optimize location pages for better local visibility

Perform link-building outreach as needed

Track rankings and provide progress updates

Follow established processes—we’ll give you the playbook, you just need to execute

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of SEO experience, with a focus on local SEO

Proven track record of optimizing Google Business Profiles and websites

Familiarity with local citations and directory submissions

Strong understanding of on-page SEO and technical basics

Comfortable using SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightLocal, etc.—or similar)

Must have good written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail and ability to follow processes consistently

Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple projects

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

Basic content writing/editing for SEO

Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms

Knowledge of schema markup for local SEO
