Senior Content Writer (SEO Focus)

Amarquez Agency is a fast-growing digital marketing agency specializing in performance-driven campaigns across SEO, Paid Media, and Content Marketing. We’re looking for a Senior Content Writer who is not just a wordsmith, but a strategic thinker with deep expertise in SEO optimization and proven ability to deliver content that ranks, converts, and builds authority.

This is not a role for someone who just “writes blogs.” We’re searching for a seasoned professional who understands how content fits into the bigger picture of traffic growth, lead generation, and client ROI.

What You’ll Do:

Write and edit high-quality, SEO-optimized content (blogs, landing pages, website copy, resources, etc.) across multiple client industries.

Collaborate with strategists who provide keyword research and audits, then turn their findings into compelling, search-friendly copy.

Use SEO tools (e.g., SurferSEO, Clearscope, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar) to structure, optimize, and continuously improve content.

Manage content pipelines using project management tools (Basecamp, Asana, or ---------- ) to hit deadlines with precision.

Balance creativity with data—your content must engage human readers while aligning with ranking signals and conversion goals.

Deliver consistent output at scale (50+ pieces/month across teams) while maintaining editorial excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven SEO Content Experience: You understand search intent, on-page optimization, meta structures, and how to write for both people and algorithms.

Exceptional US English Proficiency: Must have demonstrated experience writing in US English for American audiences (grammar, tone, idioms, cultural nuance).

Tool Mastery: Comfort using SurferSEO, Clearscope, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or other content optimization platforms.

Project Management Fluency: You’ve worked in tools like Basecamp, Asana, or ---------- and can manage multiple deadlines without dropping the ball.

Strategic Thinking: You can see beyond a single blog post and understand how your work contributes to traffic, rankings, and client success.

Agency/High-Volume Background (preferred): Experience juggling multiple brands and industries simultaneously.
