Build a high-quality exercise video library for our physical therapy and performance training clients. We are looking for a skilled video editor / VA who can manage editing, publishing, and organizing our YouTube exercise library. This is a contract role with potential for ongoing partnership after project completion.
Project Scope:
~200 exercise videos, completed in batches of 20–40 videos by body region (e.g., ankle, shoulder, knee).
Raw footage is filmed on iPhone/iPad with consistent backgrounds, single camera angles, and occasional alternate views for specific exercises.
Responsibilities:
Edit each raw clip into a polished <30 second video.
Coordinate with us on voiceover timing (we will record and provide the VO + script).
Create and apply a new branded intro/outro template (3–5 sec with logo, music, and styling).
Add captions via YouTube subtitle files (not hardcoded).
Design and upload custom thumbnails with the exercise name clearly displayed.
Upload and fully publish videos to our YouTube channel, including:
Consistent titles, descriptions, and tags (template provided).
End screens and linking to related videos.
Playlist management (organized by body region).
Maintain a Google Sheets master list:
Exercise title with video hyperlink.
Organized by body region.
Additional column for exercise parameters (sets/reps/holds).
Ideal Candidate:
Skilled in video editing with examples of short, branded content (YouTube, social, fitness a plus).
Experience with YouTube channel management and growth best practices.
Ability to design simple, professional YouTube thumbnails.
Understanding of fitness/rehab terminology is a bonus.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Timeline & Workload:
Project to be completed over 2–3 months.
Expectation: quick turnaround per body region batch (20–40 videos at a time).
We’ll be filming and providing raw footage quickly, so your editing pace will set the rhythm for how fast we can move through this project.
Hourly contract (flexible for the right fit).
Potential for ongoing work after project completion (YouTube channel development, future video content).
(Optional but preferred) Share any background with fitness, rehab, or exercise content.
