Job description
The Aesthetic Nurse will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care through pre-treatment consultations, performing skin assessments, assisting physicians during cosmetic procedures, and providing post-treatment care. The role involves educating patients on the details of their treatments and maintaining strict hygiene and safety protocols. You will also stay up-to-date with the latest aesthetic techniques and trends while maintaining accurate patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with patients to understand their aesthetic goals and concerns.
Set appointments and manage patient scheduling for treatments and consultations.
Conduct client interviews prior to providing services to assess needs and expectations.
Perform skin examinations and assessments to determine appropriate treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, ensuring a clean, sterile, and comfortable environment.
Sterilize medical instruments and tools before and after use, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
Educate patients on the details of treatments and procedures, including what to expect before, during, and after.
Assist physicians during cosmetic procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Perform pre-operative and post-operative care, monitoring patient condition and ensuring a safe recovery.
Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Stay current with new aesthetic procedures, techniques, and protocols through ongoing professional development.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting treatment details, progress, and any adverse reactions.
Perform IV injections when required as part of patient treatment plans.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Licensed/Registered Nurse.
Minimum of 1 year of hospital work experience.
Experience as a dialysis nurse is advantageous.
Experience in aesthetics is not required but must be willing to undergo training in aesthetic procedures.
