Architectural & Graphic Designer

Are you a creative Designer with experience in both visual design and architectural schematics? We're looking for someone with a strong eye for typography, layout, and presentation, skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, SketchUp, and AutoCAD (bonus if you know Revit or AI-driven tools). If you’re passionate about blending design with architecture and have a portfolio to prove it, we’d love to see your work—CAD assessment required.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

Graphic Design Responsibilities

Create visually compelling graphics with strong attention to composition, typography, layout, and presentation.
Develop and refine visual materials using:
Adobe Photoshop – edit, manipulate, and enhance raster images (provide work samples).
Adobe Illustrator – produce vector-based designs and layouts (provide work samples).
Adobe Acrobat – manage PDFs and annotated design documents.
Ensure all design work aligns with brand identity and communication goals.
Collaborate with team to translate ideas into clear visual content.

Architectural Design

Contribute to schematic design phases of interior and/or exterior architecture projects.
Create and model architectural concepts using:
SketchUp – build 3D models for spatial visualization (provide work samples).
AutoCAD – draft technical drawings and plans (provide work samples and complete CAD assessment).
Experience in Lumion and Illustrator
Interpret and visualize design intent from sketches and conceptual inputs.
Coordinate with tea ---------- mbers on technical design development.

Team Coordination & Tools

Collaborate with Linzi and other tea ---------- mbers to ensure consistency in design tools and workflow.
Confirm with Linzi which additional software tools are actively used in the production process and identify if any are essential prerequisites for the role.

Additional Preferred Skills

Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva
Open and extract files using Revit for PDF export and basic navigation (training can be provided).
Utilize AI-driven graphics software or plug-ins for creative exploration (provide work samples if applicable).
Use Adobe InDesign for layout-focused documents (used occasionally).
Apply knowledge of signage and typography to enhance environmental graphics or branding.
Stay current with emerging tools and design trends to support innovative production methods.
Experience with website management and SEO practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3 years of experience in both graphic design and architectural schematic design (interior, exterior, or both).
Strong eye for composition, typography, layout, and visual storytelling across both graphic and architectural work.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
Proficiency in architectural design tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD and Revit
Familiarity with Revit for opening files and extracting PDFs (training can be provided if needed).
Experience with AI-driven graphics tools or plug-ins is a plus (examples of work encouraged).
Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign for layout and publication projects (less frequently used).
Signage design experience is a bonus, especially as it relates to font usage and typography in spatial environments.
Comfortable collaborating in a remote team setting, with strong communication and time-management skills.
Open to learning new tools and adapting to evolving workflows.
Willing to align with the tools and processes currently used by the team—please confirm any additional relevant software experience, especially those used by Linzi in current production workflows.
