Email Integration & Segmentation Specialist (Wix ? Shopify)

About the Role

We are looking for an Email Integration Specialist with experience migrating email lists from Wix to Shopify and setting up proper segmentation. The goal is to import an existing Wix email list into Shopify, ensure tags and buyer types are mapped correctly, and set everything up so the business owner can easily send targeted emails to the right audience.

This is a one-time project to start, with the possibility of ongoing list management and cleaning.


Responsibilities:

Import and migrate an email list from Wix into Shopify.

Set up email segments based on buyer types, purchase history, or tags.

Ensure seamless integration so the business owner can send emails to the correct audience.

Provide guidance on best practices for segmentation and list hygiene.

(Optional ongoing work) Maintain and regularly clean the list to keep it up-to-date.



Requirements:

Proven experience with Wix and Shopify email integrations.

Strong understanding of Shopify Email, automations, and customer segmentation.

Experience with tagging, filtering, and setting up custom audiences.

Detail-oriented and able to ensure smooth, error-free migration.

Clear communicator with the ability to provide simple instructions to the team.



Bonus Skills:

Knowledge of email marketing best practices (deliverability, open rates, etc.).

Experience with ongoing list management and clean-up.

Project Scope & Timeline:

Initial gig: Import and segment Wix email list into Shopify.

Timeline: Flexible, but ideally completed quickly and seamlessly.

Future opportunity: Ongoing list management and support.
