Hi there! I'm the founder and CEO of a toy start-up company called Pinblock. I'm looking for an executive assistant, a ninja superstar who I can rely on to help me run my company on day to day basis. Running a company is a very broad statement so to clarify - I'm looking for someone to be my twin, my clone, my right hand person to respond to my emails, arrange my priorities and sometimes even manage other members of the Pinblock team.
Your number one focus & responsibility will be to manage my personal Pinblock email where I probably have close to a thousand of unanswered emails by now and it seems like I will never get to them unless I get help.

Before we continue, note that I have spent a lot of time considering the perfect individual for this role so the few mandatory requirements are indeed mandatory. If you aren't honest with yourself at assessing yourself with the following, you'll just waste time for the both of us.

- Perfect Verbal and Written English.
The #1 reason I'm seeking this individual is to take charge of my email. You'll be replying to a lot of my emails instead of me and discussing the responses with me over the phone. I cannot risk less than perfect email responses as well as misunderstandings over the phone with me. An accent is fine, I have one as well, but the actual knowledge of the language needs to be at my level or even above.
- You need to be a perfectionist of organization (aka very “anal” or “OCD” etc.)
I'm a very all over the place person, partially due to my nature and mostly due to the circumstances of running a company with a lot of pieces to manage. You need to be very organized because if you're not, things will be forgotten or missed and they will never be accounted for.
- Leadership, ability to make decisions, and a tolerance to my disappearance, sometimes lack of responsiveness and all-over-the-place personality. I need YOU to keep me in check and constantly bother me about things that weren't handled because I will forget when other urgent things come up. If this frustrates you, we really wouldn't be able to work together. I need you to be on my ass to make sure serious stuff gets handled.

Hours & Salary
Hours are flexible but I want you to completely dedicate yourself to Pinblock. First 1-3 months you will be part time until you move to full time. Since this is a start-up, there’s no such thing as specific hours, especially since a lot of your work will be based on communicating with me and my schedule is all over the place. In the 1-3 month time I will want you to only focus on Pinblock and don’t want you to have any other side jobs or side distractions. Of course you need quality sleep, enjoy time with the family and have your own extracurricular activities, but if you can’t get back to me when I need you because you’re working on a different job - that will be a problem.
Salary is open to negotiations and will go up with time.
For now, the first few months until we move to a full time position it will be part time - 20,000php/month and once full time, it will be 40,000php/month.
*During the part time period, feel free to seek other side projects to subsidize your income but remember what I said regarding the full time position later on.

The Application Process
I’m determined to find the best person for this role therefore the application process will be slightly tedious. I apologise for that but this is a crucial time and I need to have the right person by my side.
Each of the following will denote a separate application stage after which you may or may not be dropped. I will begin the cycle as soon as 1) viable candidates apply 2) I finish setting up the testing environment.
1. All viable candidates will have a Skype call with me
2. After the call I will choose top candidates to do a test run sorting, replying, and reporting email to me via google sheets. The time you spend doing this will be paid for regardless if you get the job or not.
3. he top choices after the first run will repeat the previous process with a new set of emails. This will be the final round and one person will be offered the position after.
I’m sorry to put candidates through such testing, but as mentioned before I have no other choice. I hope that compensating for your time will be enough to justify the effort. Also, I know that many people I will have to pass on are still amazing, which is going to be very hard for me.
The details for the test run will be given to you once you’re past the Skype call.

Additional Skills & Requirements
Ideal candidate for this position would probably be someone with a copywriting background, experienced in business communications via email, friendly but at the same time serious when it comes to taking care of business, very neat and organized, and is very knowledgeable of the gsuite environment (Gmail, Google sheets, docs, etc.)
*Note that being a copywriter isn't a must but your written ability must be flawless.

- Graphic Design (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, etc.)
- Experience with Shopify or Amazon Seller Central
- Experience with manufacturing in China, logistics, etc.
- Video editing (premiere pro, after effects, or similar)
- PPC Ads (Facebook, Adwords, etc)

- Do you follow the teachings of any entrepreneur or marketing influencer/guru? Who?
I will teach you how to run my business because that's what I essentially want you to eventually do. To the person who ends up staying with me, this will be the ultimate bootcamp teaching you how to start and run a company from the beginning to end. I value educating a lot and as long as you match the characteristics mentioned at the beginning of this post, I will be able to teach you the rest.
