About the Project:
We are a luxury lifestyle brand for dog moms preparing to launch a series of shoppable digital guide. Each guide is 200+ pages of pre-written content. You will not be ghostwriting or editing grammar. This role focuses 100% on formatting and polishing layout in preparation for publication.
Your Tasks:
• Format Word and Google Docs to ensure:
• Consistent heading styles across chapters
• Clickable, auto-generated Table of Contents (TOC)
• Clean margins, spacing, fonts, and page breaks
• Upload final document into our Flipbook platform
• Test all links in the Table of Contents (make sure they work!)
• Complete one full guide each day
• Light back-and-forth revisions (based on our creative director’s notes)
Must-Have Experience:
• Formatting large documents in Microsoft Word + Google Docs
• Creating auto-populating Table of Contents using Heading 1 / 2 / 3 styles
• Flipbook tools (Flipsnack, Issuu, or similar)
• PDF export for digital publishing
• Have graphic layout or Canva experience (preferred, not required)
• Eye for detail, speed, and ability to follow formatting systems without micromanagement
Pay & Hours:
• Fixed pay per guide (or weekly rate) — negotiable based on experience
• Paid every Friday for previous work week
• Full-time availability required for at least 5 days
• Future long-term role as Publishing Assistant (if trial goes well)
