Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal (Ohio & Kentucky Cases)

We are a U.S.-based law firm handling Personal Injury and Litigation cases primarily in Ohio and Kentucky. I am seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Virtual Litigation Paralegal. This is a long-term position for someone with experience in U.S. personal injury law, litigation support, and legal procedure.

Job Responsibilities

Draft, review, and edit legal documents (complaints, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, etc.) in compliance with Ohio and Kentucky state laws.

Assist with discovery process: drafting interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admissions, and responses.

Manage litigation calendars (deadlines, court filings, depositions, hearings, mediations).

Conduct legal research specific to Ohio and Kentucky statutes, case law, and court rules.

Organize and summarize medical records, billing statements, and deposition transcripts.

Coordinate with medical providers for records and lien reductions.

Assist in trial preparation: witness lists, exhibit lists, jury instructions, trial binders.

Communicate effectively with attorneys and U.S.-based staff regarding case progress.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience as a Litigation Paralegal (U.S. experience required; Personal Injury preferred).

Strong knowledge of Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure and Kentucky Rules of Civil Procedure

Excellent legal drafting and proofreading skills.

Familiar with softwares such as Clio and Sharepoint

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases, and meet strict deadlines.

Excellent written and spoken English (clear communication with attorneys and clients).

Work Setup

Fully remote (Philippines-based).

40 hours per week, U.S. business hours preferred (EST).

Must have reliable internet connection and backup power.
