About the Role
We’re a fast-growing team looking for a hands-on developer with deep experience connecting systems via webhooks and APIs, and who can also implement AI (including agent frameworks). You’ll own end-to-end integrations, build AI agents, and document everything so our team can scale.
Type: Contractor or Employee (open to either)
Hours Per Week: Hours depend on projects
Responsibilities
-Design, build, and maintain integrations between internal and third-party apps.
-Implement AI features (e.g., retrieval, tool use, structured outputs) and build AI agents for internal workflows.
-Create technical documentation: sequence diagrams, endpoint catalogs, runbooks, API keys/permissions, and SOPs.
-Set up monitoring/alerting for integrations (timeouts, failed deliveries, DLQs).
-Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders; translate requirements into technical specs.
Minimum Qualifications
-3–5+ years professional experience and proficiency with webhooks & APIs (designing, consuming, troubleshooting).
-Experience with at least one workflow/automation platform or job runner (e.g., n8n, Make/Zapier, Airflow, Celery, BullMQ).
-Proven ability to document processes and write clear SOPs.
Nice to Have
-Agent frameworks (CrewAI, LangGraph, AutoGen, Vercel AI SDK actions, MCP tools).
-Experience hardening webhook receivers (signature verification, retries, poison-queue handling).
What We Offer
-Join a growing team with real ownership.
-Flexible remote work.
-Path to evolve into a long-term consultant or employee.
How to Apply:
Send a short note with 2–3 relevant projects, GitHub/portfolio links, and a diagram or README from an integration you’ve built.
