AI Automation Expert - Remote Position

We are a growing AI automation agency helping businesses streamline their operations through intelligent automation solutions. We're seeking a talented AI Automation Expert to join our remote team and help deliver cutting-edge automation projects to our clients.
Position: AI Automation Expert
Location: Remote (Offshore)
Time Zone: Must be available to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours 8am-5pm
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement AI automation workflows using platforms like ---------- , Zapier, and n8n
Develop chatbots and conversational AI solutions
Create custom API integrations and webhooks
Build automation solutions for CRM, email marketing, and business processes
Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems
Document processes and create client training materials
Collaborate with sales team on technical requirements and proposals

Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:
2+ years experience with automation platforms ( ---------- , Zapier, n8n preferred)
Proficiency in AI tools (OpenAI API, Claude API, other LLM integrations)
Experience with webhook development and API integrations
Programming Languages: Python and JavaScript (required)
Database Skills: SQL for data queries and CRM integrations
Knowledge of CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
Understanding of data formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
Familiarity with no-code/low-code platforms

Communication & Language:
Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level minimum)
Strong communication skills for client interaction
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients

Work Environment Requirements:
Business-grade internet: Minimum 100 Mbps download/25 Mbps upload with low latency
Professional workspace: Quiet, dedicated home office setup
Quality equipment: Modern computer (minimum 8GB RAM, SSD preferred)
Backup power: UPS or generator for power outages
Professional webcam and headset for client video calls

Schedule & Availability:
Must work primarily during PST business hours (8 AM - 5 PM PST)
Flexible to accommodate urgent client needs
Available for occasional evening calls with US clients

Preferred Qualifications
Additional programming languages (PHP, Node.js)
Advanced Python libraries (pandas, requests, BeautifulSoup)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and applications
Previous experience working with US-based companies
Certifications in automation platforms
Experience in agency or consulting environment
Git version control and collaborative development

Skills Assessment
All AI Automation Expert candidates must complete a brief trial project:
Trial Project: Lead Qualification Automation
Create an automation that:
Receives a webhook from a lead capture form (we'll provide test data)
Analyzes the lead using AI (OpenAI/Claude API) to score qualification (1-10)
Routes the lead based on score:
High scores (8-10): Send to sales CRM + Slack notification
Medium scores (5-7): Add to nurture email sequence
Low scores (1-4): Add to general newsletter list
Logs all activity in a Google Sheet with timestamps

Requirements:

Include AI prompt engineering for lead scoring
Handle error scenarios gracefully
Provide documentation of your workflow

Time limit: 24 hours to complete

Submission Requirements:
Screen recording of automation in action (max 5 minutes)

This trial project tests: API integrations, AI implementation, conditional logic, error handling, and documentation skills.
