Grant Writer (Nonprofit & For-Profit) – Part-Time

Position: Grant Writer
Hours: 20 hours per week
Compensation: $7/hour to start. Rate increases to $8/hour after the first successful grant submission.
Location: Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Grant Writer to research, write, and submit grant proposals for both nonprofit and for-profit initiatives. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly understand program goals, translate them into compelling narratives, and manage deadlines across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Research and identify grant opportunities for nonprofit and for-profit programs.

Write, edit, and submit grant proposals, letters of intent, and supporting documents.

Track application deadlines and submission requirements.

Collaborate with leadership to gather program information and budget details.

Maintain a database of grants, submissions, deadlines, and outcomes.

Review grant guidelines to ensure eligibility and compliance.

Qualifications

Prior experience in grant writing (nonprofit and/or business grants preferred).

Strong written communication and research skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail.

Self-starter who can work independently.

Familiarity with funding databases, grant portals, or proposal systems a plus.

Compensation & Growth

Starting rate: $7/hour (20 hours per week).

Increase to $8/hour after the first successful grant submission.
