We’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our fast-growing creative team at KANES. Your primary role will be to craft clean, professional, and high-converting eCommerce product adverts for platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

The ideal candidate combines cinematic editing skills with a deep understanding of direct-response marketing, and knows how to visually sell a product with clarity, pace, and emotional connection. You’ll be working alongside a Creative Strategist, receiving briefs and feedback that you’ll learn from and apply immediately, no repeated mistakes.

What You'll Do:
- Edit engaging, conversion-driven video ads for Facebook & Instagram.
- Translate creative briefs into visual stories that hook in the first 3 seconds.
- Use pacing, typography, transitions, and music to create expensive-looking ads that sell.
- Implement proven ad structures (hook ? problem ? solution ? CTA).
- Iterate quickly based on performance data and team feedback.
- Edit with mobile-first principles, optimized for vertical & square formats.

You Must Have:
- Proven experience editing direct-response ads, UGC-style, or brand videos for eCommerce.
- A sharp eye for detail, timing, and pacing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a bonus).
- An understanding of Facebook/Instagram ad formats, performance hooks, and retention tactics.
- Ability to follow creative briefs exactly, and evolve with feedback.
- Strong understanding of marketing psychology and what makes viewers buy.

Bonus If You Have:
- Experience working with wellness, fashion, or DTC product brands.
- Familiarity with tools like Motion Array, Storyblocks, or Envato.
- Examples of ads that have scaled with high ROAS.
