Role Overview:
The Director of Accounting will oversee all accounting operations for our portfolio of companies. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the accounting team, developing processes and controls, and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting. The right candidate will be a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple companies (GL, AR/AP, payroll, reconciliations).
Consolidate monthly and quarterly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and best practices.
Partner with leadership to analyze performance, improve profitability, and support decision-making.
Manage audits, tax filings, and relationships with external accountants/CPAs.
Mentor and grow the internal accounting/finance team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
10+ years progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 in a leadership role.
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP.
Experience overseeing multiple entities or divisions (home services industry experience a plus).
Proven ability to implement systems and processes in a growing business.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
