Wordpress Developer (Page Speed & Figma Expertise Needed)

WordPress Developer (Full-Time)

We’re looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team on a full-time basis.
This role is perfect for someone who knows WordPress inside and out—especially Elementor. You should be comfortable working with both the block editor and page builders, customizing themes and plugins, and writing clean, responsive code in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

We’re especially looking for someone who is strong in either page speed optimization OR turning Figma designs into pixel-perfect WordPress sites. If you are excellent at one of these, you’ll be a great fit for our team.

Experience with Shopify is a big plus — while WordPress is our main platform, we often handle Shopify projects and need developers who can work confidently in both.

MUST work 9AM–5PM PST (California Time)
Excellent communication skills are non-negotiable

What You’ll Do:

Build, customize, and maintain high-quality WordPress websites

Work extensively with Elementor and Classic Editor depending on project needs

Specialize in either page speed optimization (Core Web Vitals, caching, clean code) OR Figma-to-WordPress implementation

Occasionally support Shopify projects or other custom-coded tasks

Troubleshoot layout issues, plugin conflicts, or responsive bugs

Collaborate with our team for revisions, feedback, and updates

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience with WordPress + Elementor (portfolio required)

Strong understanding of WordPress themes, child themes, plugins, and core files

Advanced skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery

Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and write clean, scalable code

Sharp eye for layout precision, responsiveness, and design accuracy

Strong willingness to communicate and be available

Big Plus If You Have:

Shopify development experience

SEO best practices knowledge (not required but nice to have)

Familiarity with WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, or other performance tools

WooCommerce experience

Git or version control workflow knowledge
