Travel Planner Needed to Recommend Ideal 7-Day Couples Trip from NYC (Points-Savvy)

Looking for an experienced travel planner to recommend the perfect destination for a 7-day couples trip from NYC, happening sometime in the next 6 months. This is our first couples trip, and we want it to feel immersive, boutique, and urban-focused—not a beach lounging vacation.

We are particularly interested in someone who is savvy with credit card reward programs, as we plan to book hotels using Chase (2.2M points) and Amex (1.2M points) balances. Flights will likely be booked with cash, direct flights only, economy class.

Requirements for this first phase:

Suggest 1–3 ideal destinations reachable within reasonable travel time from NYC (direct flights preferred).

Recommend a top hotel or boutique stay in each destination (points booking feasible).

Include high-level reasons why the destination is a good fit (city vibe, boutique experiences, culture, nightlife, exploration).

Optionally suggest a few restaurant or activity ideas to illustrate the trip experience.

Deliverables:

Recommendations can be presented in a PDF, Word Doc, or Spreadsheet.
