Job Title: Data Analyst (Excel/Python/Power BI)

Description:
I’m looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to help structure and evaluate past datasets. The ideal candidate should already be familiar with the core software stack below, or be able to adapt and pick it up quickly. You should also be able to provide examples of past work where you’ve taken raw, unstructured data and turned it into clear insights or dashboards.

Core Software & Data Skills:

Excel / Google Sheets (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros)

Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) for cleaning and analysis

SQL (basic–intermediate) for structured data handling

Jupyter / Colab Notebooks for repeatable reporting

Data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio)

Automation / Data extraction tools (OCR, Tabula, UiPath, etc.)

APIs & Web scraping (optional but useful)

Requirements:

Able to adapt quickly to new tools and workflows.

Strong problem-solving mindset — not just pushing data around, but drawing out the story behind it.

Must show past projects or portfolio examples that demonstrate similar use cases (before/after data transformation, analysis, dashboards, reporting).

This is a freelance/contract role, with potential for ongoing collaboration depending on quality of work.
