ABOUT DEFINEME
DefineMe (
We’re not looking for a “template Canva designer.” We want someone who lives and breathes design, understands trends, and knows how to make brands feel elevated, original, and cohesive across every platform.
THE ROLE
This is a design-first role — perfect for an experienced designer who’s built themselves up freelancing but is ready for the stability and collaboration of being part of a high-trust, high-taste team.
We’re looking for someone who:
Thinks in systems and cohesion, not just one-off visuals.
Can design clean, strategic websites in Figma that flow and convert.
Translates concepts into full brand expressions — logos, palettes, typography, social assets, and beyond.
Has an eye for hierarchy, spacing, and layout.
Is innovative, trend-aware, and excited to integrate AI into the creative process (imagery, video, mockups) in a way that feels polished and realistic.
Loves creating decks, brochures, packaging, and pitch visuals that feel elevated and brand-aligned.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
On any given day, you might:
Create brand systems: logos, palettes, typography, layouts
Design social content: carousels, statics, reels, ads
Refresh and elevate brands visually across web, print, and digital
Design and structure website flows in Figma (no coding required)
Translate creative direction into visuals that connect and convert
Experiment with AI tools to create realistic imagery and videography that actually looks good (not generic or off-brand)
Collaborate with strategists and creative directors to refine and push creative work further
MUST HAVES
Strong graphic design background (branding, logos, social, ads)
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop + Illustrator
Figma skills (layouts, page sections, components — no coding)
Elevated sense of typography, layout, and modern design trends
Portfolio of brand systems + social media design (static + video)
Experience designing social media reels or motion assets
Strong English communication — client-safe writing/speaking
Reliability: consistent, responsive, committed to deadlines
NICE TO HAVES
After Effects, CapCut, or other motion design tools
InDesign (print + decks)
Shopify, Webflow, or WordPress design knowledge
Photography or food image editing skills
Videography or video editing beyond the basics
Awareness of U.S. culture + social media trends
NOT A FIT IF…
Your portfolio is mostly Canva templates
You cannot show original brand design work
You’re primarily a developer (this is not a dev role)
You’re resistant to experimenting with new tools like AI
WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING WITH US
High trust, high taste — no micromanaging
We’re all about quality — if you produce consistently, we provide long-term growth packages and leadership opportunities
Room to grow into a creative leadership role over time
Work with a team that values innovation, originality, and smart design
