Full-Time Grant Writer (Research + Applications)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our team. This role requires someone who can independently research, identify, and apply for grants that align with our company’s mission and goals. You will be responsible for managing the entire grant application process, writing proposals, gathering required documents, and submitting completed applications.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, and confident in taking ownership of the grant pipeline from start to finish with little to no supervision.

Responsibilities:

-Research and identify available local, state, federal, and private grants relevant to our business.

-Write compelling and persuasive grant proposals, applications, and supporting documents.

-Ensure all grant applications are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.

-Maintain a tracker of grant deadlines, submissions, and follow-ups.

-Collaborate with our team when financials or company documents are required.

-Provide weekly updates on grant opportunities and application progress.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in grant writing and grant research.

-Strong English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

-Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

-Familiarity with grant databases, funding portals, and application processes.

-Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.

-Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Preferred (but not required):

-Knowledge of business, workforce development, construction, staffing, nonprofit, or community programs.

-Experience with U.S. government and private foundation grant applications.
