API Integration Specialist (Per Project, Remote)

We are looking for an experienced API Integration Specialist to work with us on a per-project basis. The role is focused on building, testing, and maintaining integrations between platforms such as Mindbody, Cliniko, and HighLevel (GHL). This is a technical position and requires proven experience with APIs, webhooks, and custom coding.

Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing client systems and identifying integration requirements

Building, testing, and deploying integrations between platforms such as Mindbody, Cliniko, and GHL

Working with webhooks, REST APIs, and authentication protocols (OAuth2, API keys, etc.)

Troubleshooting, debugging, and ensuring integrations remain stable over time

Documenting integration processes clearly for internal and client use

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in API development and integration

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and webhooks

Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or PHP preferred)

Experience with SaaS platforms such as Mindbody, Cliniko, Zapier, or Make (Integromat)

Ability to read and implement API documentation (e.g., Mindbody Webhooks API)

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Availability to work on a per-project basis with defined deliverables and timelines

Preferred (but not required):

API Developer certifications (Postman, Google Cloud API, or similar)

Platform-specific certifications such as Zapier Certified Expert or Make Partner
