POSITION OVERVIEW

The Web Developer is responsible for advanced coding and technical implementation across websites, CRMs, ESPs, advertising platforms, and analytics engines. This role is highly technical, requiring expertise in development, integration, optimization, and compliance. It is not a managerial position and does not involve design work, but instead focuses on hands-on development, troubleshooting, and systems integration.

The ideal candidate is fluent in multiple programming languages, experienced in large-scale integrations, and skilled in ensuring systems are secure, compliant, and optimized for performance and search visibility. The role also requires proactive communication, providing regular updates, and maintaining timely correspondence through project management platforms to ensure cross-team alignment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Web Development & Systems Integration
• Build, test, and maintain responsive websites and applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Implement and manage third-party API integrations (CRMs, ERPs, ESPs, payment gateways).
• Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across web systems, servers, and marketing platforms.
• Maintain technical documentation for integrations, system architecture, and updates.
• Support UX teams by suggesting and validating UX methods from a technical perspective (e.g., feasibility, performance impact, accessibility compliance, and SEO alignment).

2. CRM, ESP, and Lead Flow Development
• Develop and integrate lead capture mechanisms, landing pages, and automated workflows.
• Connect lead management into CRMs/ESPs for automated routing, scoring, and nurturing.
• Optimize user journeys and funnels for conversion efficiency.

3. Technical SEO & Analytics
• Implement technical SEO best practices, including indexability, schema, crawl efficiency, and site architecture.
• Configure and maintain Google environments (Google Analytics, GTM, GSC, Ads, etc.) for advanced tracking.
• Ensure websites comply with ADA accessibility standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Support data-driven improvements using analytics dashboards and reporting engines.

4. Security, Compliance, and Performance
• Manage server environments, DNS, and domain settings with an understanding of email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Optimize website performance (speed, server-side efficiency, caching, scalability).
• Troubleshoot technical issues across multiple platforms with minimal downtime.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols, ADA, and industry standards.

5. Knowledge Base & Documentation
• Create and maintain internal and external documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide clear technical manuals to support multi-application environments.
• Update resources as systems evolve and new solutions are implemented.

6. Proactive Communication & Project Updates
• Provide regular project updates across teams using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Jira, Asana, Trello).
• Maintain timely correspondence with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Proactively flag risks, delays, or technical issues before they impact deliverables.
• Collaborate effectively with marketing, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to keep all projects on track.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience
• 3–5+ years in web development with a proven track record in systems integration, API development, and technical optimization.
• Demonstrated success managing complex CRM/ESP integrations and data-driven marketing environments.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting server environments and security protocols.

Technical Skills
• Strong front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular.
• Strong back-end: Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, or equivalent.
• Cloud & hosting experience: AWS, Google Cloud, server administration.
• Deep expertise in SEO (technical & on-page) and ADA compliance standards.
• Advanced use of Google applications: Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, Ads, Workspace.
• Knowledge of domain management, DNS, and email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
