Senior Fullstack Magento Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Magento Developer who doesn’t just “work with Magento” but truly understands how to build, optimize, and scale it. The right candidate is someone who writes clean, efficient, and reliable code — not quick fixes. You should be confident in both front-end and back-end development, and capable of solving complex problems with smart, well-structured solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 websites (version 2.4.7 or higher).
- ??Design and build custom Magento modules, extending native functionality to support B2B features (e.g., custom pricing, quotes, workflows).
- Build and integrate front-end and back-end features with attention to performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver top-quality e-commerce solutions.
- Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code that follows best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize site performance to ensure speed, stability, and reliability.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, security, and scalability in every project.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Fullstack Magento Developer with deep, hands-on knowledge of Magento 2.4.7+ architecture and best practices.
- Strong coding skills — advanced proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with the ability to build elegant solutions to complex problems.
- Experience with third-party system configurations (payment gateways, shipping providers, ERP/CRM integrations) and API development/integration is mandatory.
- Custom Module Development – Design and build custom Magento modules to accommodate:
*Vendors & Vendor Management
*Vendor Purchase Orders
*Wholesale Clients & Wholesale Pricing Tiers
*Custom Label Creation
- Integrations – Configure and integrate third-party systems including:
*UPS (Shipping)
*Authorize.net (Payments)
*CodeReadR (Barcode Scanning / Asset Tracking)
??- Proficient with development and deployment workflows using:
*GitLab (Version Control / CI-CD)
*AWS Console (Hosting & Infrastructure)
*Cloudflare (CDN, Caching, Security)
- Ability to work EST time zone hours.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Available to start immediately.

Nice to Have:
Experience with Hyvä theme development.
Compensation:
Salary is based on experience (DOE).
