About Us

The Destination Club is a group travel company that creates unforgettable itineraries around the world. Our founder, Sekou, also runs a personal travel brand ---------- sharing luxury travel, lifestyle, and digital nomad content. We are growing and need a creative video editor to turn our daily travel footage into engaging, scroll-stopping Reels and TikToks.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a talented part-time video editor who is passionate about storytelling and social media trends. You’ll receive raw footage from trips (luxury hotels, restaurants, nightlife, cultural tours, villas, etc.) and turn them into daily polished videos optimized for Instagram Reels and TikTok.

You’ll be working closely with Sekou, who will provide creative direction and references. Your job is to edit quickly, creatively, and consistently so we always have a steady flow of content.

Responsibilities

Edit 1–2 short-form videos per day (15–60 seconds) from provided footage

Stay on top of social media trends and suggest new editing styles

Deliver videos on time (daily or in bulk drops for the week)

Requirements

Proven experience editing short-form social videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts)

Proficiency with editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar)

Strong sense of pacing, transitions, and visual storytelling

Ability to follow creative direction and replicate references

Reliable, detail-oriented, and consistent with deadlines

Strong internet connection for file uploads/downloads

Portfolio of past work required (links to TikToks/Reels you’ve edited)

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience editing travel, lifestyle, or luxury content

Understanding of Instagram/TikTok trends and viral formats

Graphic design skills (thumbnails, IG story layouts, etc.)
