We need someone who’s FAST, CREATIVE, EFFICIENT, & HONEST with their time.
You’ll work directly with our marketing manager and creative team to turn raw footage and ideas into high-impact videos that “speak directly to our audience’s passions.”
What you’ll work on (not limited to)
Short-form & long-form editing: TikTok, Reels/Stories, YouTube Shorts & long videos, website explainers, UGC-style ads, testimonials, case studies, event recaps.
AI-assisted production: Use tools like Runway, Descript, CapCut, Adobe Premiere/After Effects + Firefly, etc. for cuts, captions, cleanup, background removal, upscaling, object removal, auto-reframe, style transfers, and b-roll generation.
Motion graphics & titles: Kinetic text, lower thirds, logo stings, transitions, branded animated elements.
Audio polish: Noise reduction, EQ/compression, music selection, SFX, basic voice clean-up (Adobe Audition/Descript).
Repurposing engine: Turn one long video/podcast into multiple hooks, highlights, and formats (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) with platform-specific openers and CTAs.
Brand consistency: Apply brand kits, templates, color, type, and style across all outputs.
Thumbnails & cover frames: Design scroll-stopping thumbnails for YouTube and video covers for socials.
Quality & speed: Manage versions, filenames, and exports; hit deadlines with consistent QC.

Requirements
Video editing mastery in at least one pro NLE: Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro (Premiere preferred).
Motion graphics: After Effects (or equivalent) for titles, transitions, and light animations.
AI tools (working knowledge): Runway, Descript, CapCut, Adobe Firefly/Generative Fill (video), autocaptions/subtitles, scene detection, AI upscalers, background removal. Bonus: voice enhancement, AI dubbing/lip-sync (e.g., ElevenLabs, Kapwing, HeyGen).
Social platform know-how: Best practices for hooks, pacing, captions, length, aspect ratios, safe zones, and export settings for TikTok/IG/YT/FB/LinkedIn.
Design sense: Selecting fonts/colors, framing, and composition that feel on-brand.
File hygiene: Organized project files, proxies, and media management in Google Drive/Dropbox.
Project tools: Experience with Jira/Trello and Slack or Microsoft Teams.
English: Comfortable reading briefs and annotating revisions.
Experience: 1–3+ years professional editing (agency, brand, or freelance) with a portfolio/reel showing social ads and motion work.
Nice to have (plus points):
Color correction & basic grading (Lumetri/Resolve).
Light VFX/compositing (screen replacements, clean plates).
Thumbnail design in Photoshop/Illustrator or Figma.
Understanding of direct-response editing for performance ads (hooks, CTAs, pattern breaks).
What success looks like
Consistent on-time delivery and organized files.
Videos that hold attention in the first 3 seconds and feel native to each platform.
Clean sound, crisp captions, strong hooks, and scroll-stopping thumbnails.
Ability to iterate quickly based on feedback and performance data.
