Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager | Ocean Rescue Alliance International

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Graphic Designer to join Dr. Shelby Thomas (CEO of Ocean Rescue Alliance International) team in their mission to advance marine conservation and coastal restoration. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations, effective communication, and efficient project coordination across the organization’s dynamic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop creative and visually appealing graphics for social media, website, email campaigns, and print materials
• Ensure all designs align with brand identity and guidelines
• Produce engaging multimedia content, including short videos, reels, and animations
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to support campaigns with creative assets
• Stay updated on design trends and incorporate them into projects when appropriate

Social Media Management
• Plan, create, and schedule content across all social media platforms
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and build community interaction
• Analyze performance metrics and optimize content strategy based on insights
• Run paid social media campaigns and track ROI
• Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
• Experience with Canva or similar tools for basic graphic design and document formatting.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for environmental conservation and mission-driven work is a plus.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in Graphic Design/SMM, preferably supporting executives or nonprofit organizations.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello), and basic marketing platforms.
